I've been a regular customer at NK for 30+ years and have seen a few of my go-to stylists leave. Recently, I had to look for a new stylist and was glad to stumble upon Jovelle. My first and most important criterion was language, as I am not fluent in spoken Mandarin and can barely hold a conversation, much less describe hair style requests, colours, or technical questions. I was quite worried to have a few stylists approach me speaking in Mandarin, leaving me feeling totally lost in translation. That was until I came across Jovelle, and the reviews I read about her turned out to be on point. She listens, there's no hard selling, and she goes the extra mile for service. Looking forward to seeing the care she takes with our tresses.

I've been with NK for more than a decade! I remember I almost canceled all my hair packages due to an unhappy incident at another outlet. However, a manager contacted me and provided such excellent service that instead of canceling my packages, I signed up for more and extended my existing ones. Ever since, I have been coming back to them for hair services. I am a regular because of one outstanding manager who has always given her best to serve her customers with smiles and professionalism. Honestly, while the pricing for hair services at NK is not very cheap, I can gladly say the money is well spent here to save your hair! All the staff here are also very friendly and attentive to customers' needs. You won't be feeling bored or left out, even during your many hours of waiting. Today I came for hair coloring and treatment. My dead, yellowish, bleached hair was transformed into this! Amazing greyish-purple, healthy-looking, smooth hair! Nice curls. Met two of the nicest people today at the Bedok Mall outlet. Met Jovell for the first time, and after listening to my haircut request, she trimmed my hair, making my natural curls more noticeable, which I absolutely love! Had a great conversation with Wing, who is so bubbly and gave me the nicest hair massage before washing my hair. Great team effort from NK Hairworks!
