Important Travel Advisory: Bedok to Tampines MRT Service Adjustments
For commuters regularly traveling along the East-West Line, please take note of upcoming adjustments to train services. To facilitate essential railway works, there will be a temporary suspension of train services between Bedok and Tampines MRT stations.
Service Suspension Details
From **Friday, 29th November 2025, to Sunday, 8th December 2025**, train services will not be available between Bedok and Tampines stations. This temporary closure is crucial for ongoing infrastructure enhancements, ensuring the long-term reliability and safety of our rail network.
Alternative Travel Arrangements
During this period, comprehensive alternative transport options will be provided to ensure seamless connectivity for affected commuters:
- Shuttle Trains: Dedicated shuttle train services will operate between **Bedok and Paya Lebar stations**, helping commuters navigate the western stretch of the affected line.
- Shuttle Buses: Frequent shuttle bus services will be available, running directly between **Bedok and Tampines stations**, as well as extending to **Expo station**. These buses will depart every few minutes to minimize waiting times.
We encourage all commuters to plan their journeys ahead and allocate additional travel time, especially if you are heading towards Bedok Mall or other destinations in the vicinity.
